GEOLOGIA A ZDROWIE

  • Projektujemy i nadzorujemy rekultywację terenów zdegradowanych - poprzemysłowych i pogórniczych
  • Badamy wpływ składowisk odpadów na środowisko przyrodnicze i opracowujemy propozycje geologicznych warunków składowania odpadów komunalnych, niebezpiecznych i promieniotwórczych
  • Oceniamy skażenie gleb, roślin, wód i budynków przez pierwiastki promieniotwórcze – cez, rad, uran

Oznaczamy:

  • Pierwiastki śladowe i główne — arsen, antymon, bar, chrom, cynę, cynk, fosfor, kadm, kobalt, magnez, mangan, miedź, molibden, nikiel, ołów, potas, rtęć, siarkę, sód, srebro, stront, tal, wapń, wanad, węgiel organiczny, żelazo
  • Pierwiastki promieniotwórcze – cez, rad i uran
  • Szkodliwe związki organiczne — wielopierścieniowe węglowodory aromatyczne, wybrane kongenery polichlorowanych bifenyli oraz wybrane pestycydy chloroorganiczne

Monitorujemy i chronimy zasoby wód podziemnych – źródło wody pitnej dla ponad połowy Polaków

  • Rozpoznajemy warunki hydrogeologiczne i zasoby wód podziemnych na obszarze całego kraju
  • Szacujemy stopień wykorzystania zasobów wód podziemnych – określamy rezerwy i wyznaczamy obszary deficytowe
  • Prognozujemy skutki wzrostu poziomu Morza Bałtyckiego i ryzyko ingresji wód słonych do użytkowych poziomów wodonośnych

Rozpoznajemy kopaliny i wody mineralne o walorach zdrowotnych

  • Prowadzimy poszukiwania i bilans złóż surowców wykorzystywanych w przemyśle farmaceutycznym, takich jak: węgiel, torf, borowiny
  • Oceniamy zasoby i skład chemiczny stosowanych w lecznictwie wód mineralnych
  • Dokumentujemy zasoby surowców skalnych i ceramicznych – zdrowych, ekologicznych materiałów do budowy domów i dekoracji ich wnętrz

Badamy georóżnorodność naszego kraju i potencjał geoturystyczny jego regionów

  • Wyznaczamy cenne pod względem naukowym i edukacyjnym geologiczne i geomorfologiczne stanowiska przyrody nieożywionej
  • Projektujemy geoparki, ścieżki i stanowiska geologiczne
