HYDROGEOLOGICAL MAP OF POLAND 1:200 000
|
Published in 1976-1990, in Polish. Financed by the PGI budget. Scientific editor: Cyryl Kolago. The map covers the whole territory of Poland. The map presents areas of different potential water discharge, depth of the first useful aquifer, hydroisohypses and mineral water occurences. Areas of various extension of the first useful aquifer isolation are also indicated. Sites of the permanent groundwater observations are included, too. On the hydrogeological cross-sections (attached to each map sheet), groundwater table and rock lithology (its permeability) are marked. The hydrogeological regions, subregions and areas are distinguished on the map. Besides, each map sheet contains the three following 1 : 500 000 scale maps:
- map of surface sediments permeability and the depth of the first groundwater table,
- map of the Quaternary permeable formation thickness,
- map of the major groundwater basin transmissivity and groundwater quality.
Principles of accession:
Printed map sheets, together with explanatory notes, are available in the PGI Publication, Distribution and Promotion Section.
