Regional Geochemical atlases are made in the scales 1 : 200 000 to 1 : 2 500 000. They present picture of chemical environment of soils, water sediments and surface waters. The results of investigations enable the general evaluation of environmental conditions and could be used for further, more detailed studies of anthropogenic pollution at the limited, selected areas.
Atlases contains set of the colour tables presenting maps together with explanatory notes.
