The Jurassica conference is open to all geologists working on the Jurassic system and Triassic/Jurassic and Jurassic/Cretaceous boundary sediments. The purpose of the conference is to exchange novel ideas and discoveries and create a space to discuss key aspects of Jurassic stratigraphy, stage boundary patterns (GSSPs), sedimentology, geochemistry, paleontology, tectonics, paleomagnetism, and geotourism.

The meeting will also provide a forum for the presentation of the results of research by young scientists and doctoral students on specific areas of Jurassic geology. In addition to presentations of scientific reports, the Jurassica XV conference will also include field trips.

Both the issues presented and the trips will focus on shallow-water Upper Jurassic formations of the northeastern margin of the Świetokrzyskie Mountains containing diverse faunal assemblages.
