CHEMICAL LABORATORY

Chemical Laboratory holds the certificate of the Polish Centre of Accreditation no AB 283. The accreditation scope involves determination of about 400 properties in liquid and solid samples. Laboratory applies a wide range of analytical techniques (ICP-MS, ICP-OES, WD-XRF, FAAS, TMA, HPLC, GC) and uses professional analytical instruments of the world leading manufacturers. Every year over 200 000 determinations are carried out in the laboratory.

SOIL AND ROCK LABORATORY TESTING CENTRE

We test soils and rocks properties in the line national and international standards (PN, PN-EN ISO, ASTM, BS, DIN) and other procedures. Physical, mechanical and hydraulical parameters are checked for geological and geotechnical reports for construction sector and spatial planning. We tailor description and classification of soils and rocks to customer needs and/or requirements. In order to ensure quality and obtain a certificate of accreditation PCA (Polish Centre for Accreditation) we create a quality assurance system.

MICRO-AREA ANALYSIS LABORATORY

The laboratory is equipped with CAMECA SX 100 electron microprobe – one of the most innovative probes in the world. Precise determination of trace elements within micro-areas has many applications in various studies, among others, in mineralogical and petrographical investigations, environmental protection studies, microbiology, and archaeology.

GEOPHYSICAL LABORATORY

The laboratory undertakes a wide spectrum of analyses in paleomagnetism and environmental magnetism. The laboratory is equipped in, among other, the JR-6 spinner magnetometer and MS2 unit, produced by Bartington – used for magnetic susceptibility of soils and rocks measurements, both in laboratory and in situ.
