MSc thesis: Numerical simulation of stress state in borehole-confined rock medium based on comparative analysis of breakouts and drilling-induced fractures and geophysical imaging
Email: alicja.pilacik(at)pgi.gov.pl
My research interests concern i.a. stress distribution in the rock medium and stability analysis of the borehole during drilling, stimulation and production processes. As part of my thesis I focus on the construction of a numerical geomechanical model for an anisotropic visco-elastic-plastic medium and the development of stability analizing software.
