The catalogue contains information on the collection of the Geological Library in Warsaw dating from 1990 as well as collections of libraries located in our regional branches. Polish Geological Bibliography has been appearing in print since 1922. It presents scientific achievements of Polish geologists, including their works published in Poland as well as, when possible, abroad.

The database of publications written by employees of the PGI has been being prepared since 2006, based on information gathered by the Geological Library, as a sub-database of the Polish Geological Bibliography.

Access to publications in the field of geology and related sciences is provided by ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, Wiley Online Library, AGU, Versita, and EBSCO and is possible only from computers located in the PGI. Clients are welcome to use computers located in reading rooms at libraries of all PGI branches.
