All calculations and works have been prepared in the Economic Geology Department of PGI-NRI on a basis of the System of Management and Protection of Mineral Resources in Poland "MIDAS" and on a basis of a publication ‘The balance of mineral deposits resources in Poland as of 31 XII 2025’ (in Polish: ‘Bilans zasobów złóż kopalin w Polsce wg stanu na 31 XII 2025 r.’). Carrying out the national balance of mineral resources is one of the tasks performed by the state geological survey which is fulfilled by the Polish Geological Institute-National Research Institute according to the art. 163 of the Geological and Mining Law (Journal of Laws, 2026, Item 69). Preparing and issuing ‘The balance of mineral resources in Poland’ is financed by the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management.
