Chief Geologist of Poland appointed as Government Plenipotentiary for National Resource Policy

Deputy Minister of the Environment and Chief Geologist of Poland Professor Mariusz Orion Jędrysek has been appointed as Government Plenipotentiary for Resource Policy and will lead an interdepartmental team for the drafting of related economic solutions in each of the departments.

Government Plenipotentiary for Resource Policy will be in charge of drafting strategic documents for the protection and exploitation of mineral resources, as well as of reviewing all government administration documents that have an effect on national resource policy.

Interdepartmental team tasks will include, but are not limited to assessments of prospective resources, resource security aspects and ensuring consistency of energy policy and other strategic resource policy-related documents.

Development of resource policy is a complex and multi-thread task: all production areas, also other than manufacturing alone, require supply of materials.
