A new pack of sheets of the Hydrogeological Map of Poland at a scale of 1:50,000 - First Aquifer - Occurrence and Hydrodynamics, has just been made available on the Internet as JPG files. 20 sheets have been added and now a total of 967 sheets of this map, along with explanatory texts, are available on the Internet.

The HMP FA summary map – Occurrence and hydrodynamics contains the following information:

• identification of the first aquifer (type and stratigraphy of FA) divided into hydrodynamic and geomorphological units,
• FA hydrodynamics along with the characteristics of the groundwater table,
• depth of occurrence of FA,
• areas covered by a significant decrease or increase in the FA water table as a result of anthropogenic activities,
• hydraulic relationship of groundwater and surface water.

Access to scans, explanatory texts and diagrams of the boreholes, of individual sheets is possible via the "CBDG resources" application, to which users are redirected from the application CBDG GeoLOG or the GEOLOGIA Portal. To do this, select the map layer "Serial maps sheet – index, 1:50,000". Then, after selecting the sheet of interest, click the "see more" link, which redirects you to the "CBDG resources" application (described in the previous bulletin).

No additional permissions are needed to download map scans and map sheet texts.
