We are pleased to announce that employees of the Polish Geological Institute - PIB have been appointed to two important scientific bodies: Committee for Geological Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Committee for Quaternary Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
PIG-PIB experts at the 6th World Landslide Forum in Florence
An international event took place in Florence on November 14-18, 2023 - 6. World Landslide Forum, in which employees of the Polish Geological Institute - PIB participated in greater numbers than in previous editions.
New projects of the state geological survey
In the third quarter of 2023, three new contracts were signed for the performance of tasks within the state geological survey. All projects will be funded by the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management. As at the end of September 2023, the Institute had already implemented 82 projects funded by this source.
