Polish Geological Institute - NRI continues exploration of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge using state-of-the-art technology
On February 17, 2023, the Polish Geological Institute - National Research Institute (PGI-NRI) signed a contract with the Norwegian company Argeo Survey AS for detailed exploration and data acquisition in selected areas of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge (Leg 2).
PGI-NRI awarded authorisation by the President of the National Atomic Energy Agency
January 31, 2023 – the Polish Geological Institute – National Research Institute has been authorised by the President of the National Atomic Energy Agency (PAA) to carry out specialised site analyses with regard to geological and engineering conditions and hazards. The document was received by PGI-PIB Director dr inż. Mateusz Damrat.
A new issue of Volumina Jurassica published
A new issue of the English language journal Volumina Jurassica – Volume XX (2022) has been published. The publication includes an article co-authored by an employee of the Polish Geological Institute-PIB.

In December 2022, the eCUDO.pl oceanographic data portal was launched. Thanks to this, users can search the repository containing information on over 7 million different types of oceanographic data in one place, free of charge, without having to log in.
