PGI-NRI manages the largest digital geo-engineering database in Poland
PGI is the administrator for the Geo-engineering Database (BDGI) - the largest Polish digital database of data useful in construction, spatial planning and crisis management. High quality of data, quick and free access and an intuitive interface, make it a valuable and main source of knowledge for a wide group of interested parties.

The latest edition of “The balance of mineral resources deposits in Poland” (in Polish) is available online. In the publication Polish Geological Institute-National Research Institute (PGI-NRI) presented data on over 14 thousand mineral raw materials deposits documented in Poland as of 31.12.2019.
CBDG Archival reports - a new version of the application is available
The Central Geological Data Base (CBDG) Documents subsystem is one of the most important PIG-PIB digital data resources. It stores catalog data of archival geological studies from the National Geological Archives and other archives in the country, including over 100 archives.Miner's Day at the Polish Geological Institute - NRI
Following tradition, the Polish Geological Institute – National Research Institute (PGI-NRI) celebrated also our geological festival this year. The Miner’s Day (commonly known in Poland as Barbórka) was celebrated as it should be on 4th of December at venues of the Geological Museum of the PGI-NRI by many current and former employees as well as with many important guests.
