PIG-PIB na warsztatach pt. "Baltic Sea Wind farm Workshop 2024" w Danii

W dniach 28-29 lutego 2024 r. w Aarhus w Danii odbyły się warsztaty pt. "Baltic Sea Wind farm Workshop 2024". Spotkanie zorganizowano dzięki uprzejmości służby geologicznej Danii i Grenlandii GEUS w ramach projektu Geological Service For Europe (GSEU). W wydarzeniu wzięli udział przedstawiciele siedmiu państw: Danii, Szwecji, Finlandii, Polski, Litwy, Niemiec oraz Wielkiej Brytanii. Państwowy Instytut Geologiczny-PIB rezprezentowali Dorota Kaulbarsz z Oddziału Geologii Morza w Gdańsku i Adam Popławski z Zakładu Geologii Inżynierskiej.
Opening of the Museum of Polar Research in Puławy
On February 21, 2024, the ceremonial opening of the Polar Research Museum in Puławy took place. It is the first institution in Poland that covers all issues related to the history of Polish polar expeditions in the Arctic and Antarctica.
Meeting with the Mongolian Ambassador at the Ministry of Climate and Environment
Cooperation in geology and the implementation of joint research projects were the main topics of conversation during the first meeting between the Deputy Minister of Climate and Environment, Chief National Geologist Krzysztof Galos and Dorj Barkhas, Ambassador of Mongolia to Poland. The meeting took place on February 2, 2024 at the Ministry of Climate and Environment.
