The Scientific Council of PGI-NRI has awarded the academic degree of doctor habilitatus to Dr. Piotr Szrek
We are pleased to announce that by the resolution no. 31/IX/2021 dated September 17, 2021, the Scientific Council of the Polish Geological Institute – National Research Institute conferred onto Dr. Piotr Szrek the academic degree of doctor habilitatus in the field of Exact and Natural Sciences in the discipline of Earth and Environmental Sciences.
Guidelines for investigating and surveying the subsoil for high-speed railroad investments
The Central Communication Port (pol. Centralny Port Komunikacyjny – CPK) has submitted guidelines for investigating the subsoil on which the structures and railroad infrastructure of CPK Sp. z o. o., including the High-Speed Railway, are or will be located. The guidelines were prepared with the cooperation of the Polish Geological Institute - National Research Institute.
Minister of Climate and Environment presented an assessment of PGI-NRI's activities for 2020
The Polish Geological Institute-NRI is an entity supervised by the Minister of Climate and Environment, who annually evaluates its finances, activities, including the implementation of the tasks of the Polish Geological Survey and the National Administrator of Underground Carbon Dioxide Storage Sites. For 2020, the Institute received a positive assessment with some objections.
