bangkok zaj enBetween the 4th and 9th of September 2018, the Climate Change Conference in Bangkok was held as part of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). Its main purpose was to accelerate work on the Paris Agreement Work Programme (PAWP).

chiny zaj enBetween the 18th and 25th of June 2018, Professor Przemysław Borkowski, Dr. Wojciech Jegliński and Dr. Artur Skowronek from the Polish Geological Institute–National Research Institute (PGI-NRI) visited China at the invitation of the China Geological Survey (CGS). Dr. Michał Tomczak, a marine geology expert with broad experience in Polish - Chinese cooperation, joined the delegation.

zajEvery year, the Polish Geological Institute - National Research Institute (PGI-NRI) issues a report summarising tasks completed during the past year. The report lists tasks which PGI-NRI carried out both as a national geological survey and as a scientific organisation. In June this year, the Scientific Council of PGI-NRI accepted the Annual Report on the Institute's Activities in 2017.

geoera enThe kick-off meeting for the 15 projects under the European Geological Surveys Research Area (GeoERA) was held in Brussels from 3rd to 5th July 2018. GeoERA is a programme jointly run by the 48 European geological surveys that participate in the Geological Surveys of Europe (EuroGeoSurveys).
