Report on the 5th SLOPE TECTONICS Conference
On 9-14 September 2024, the 5th Conference on Slope Tectonics took place in Křtiny near Brno and in the Czech part of the Outer Carpathian Mountains. This cyclical event is dedicated to the study of the relationship between the structure and tectonics of the bedrock and the causes and development of slope deformation.

The second edition of the COMMON-FUTURE Congress on Reconstruction of Ukraine, organised by the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce (PUIG), took place on 7-8 October 2024 in Poznań at the Poznań International Fair.
Raw material security issues of the Visegrad Group and the Western Balkan countries during the meeting at PGI-NRI
On 10 October 2024, a high-level meeting took place at the headquarters of the Polish Geological Institute – National Research Institute in Warsaw to discuss the raw material security of the Visegrad Group countries (Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary) and the Western Balkans (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, Northern Macedonia and Serbia).
On planetary research at the international Europlanet Science Congress 2024 conference in Berlin
The Europlanet Science Congress (EPSC) is the largest planetary science meeting in Europe, bringing together the space exploration community every year. This year's EPSC2024 took place from 8-13 September at Freie University in Berlin and attracted 1,200 participants from around the world.
