Meeting of the MREG EuroGeoSurveys expert group and the GSEU project at PGI-NRI
On 21–22 October, the headquarters of the Polish Geological Institute hosted meetings of the EuroGeoSurveys expert group – MREG (Mineral Resources Expert Group) and the GSEU (Geological Service for Europe) project. In the following days, the participants had the opportunity to take part in a field trip, during which they visited the salt mine in Kłodawa, the PGI-NRI warehouse in Leszcze, and the Rudna copper and silver mine in the KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. deposit area.
The Lower Silesian Branch of PGI-NRI is strengthening its cooperation with the Brandenburg Geological Service
On 30 September 2025, the Lower Silesian Branch of PGI-NRI organised a Polish-German meeting of geological services in Wrocław, namely the Brandenburg Geological Service (LBGR – Landesamt für Bergbau, Geologie und Rohstoffe Brandenburg) and the Polish Geological Service (represented by the Lower Silesian Branch of PGI-NRI in Wrocław).

On 16-17 September 2025, employees of the Central Geological Archive of the Polish Geological Institute – National Research Institute (PGI-NRI) visited the headquarters of the Czech Geological Survey (CGS).

Krystian Wójcik from the Polish Geological Institute – National Research Institute (PGI-NRI) participated in the international H2NORWAY conference, as a part of the hydrogen mission organized by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) to Stavanger.
